Fräulein
[edit]The section on the use of Fräulein for unmarried women, beginning with "Some feminists..." is loaded with prejudice for those who "insist on" the use of Frau regardless of marital status. Additionally, the article on Fräulein states (with references) that it has been officially "banned", that it is "outdated", and that this fact "should have reached even the most obdurate grouch".
