SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Bastøy Prison.jpg
Thanks for uploading :File:Bastøy Prison.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom, SuggestBot's caretaker.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.<!-- Template:You can request undeletion -->

Grand union canal route map
Hi Grim23. Thank you for message. I've amended the text on the image page with what I know. Off the record I believe the horse was commissioned due to the land being previously occupied by a official traveller's site and much of the land there was used for grazing. The photo of Monty and some information can be found at http://lower-edmonton.anidea.co.uk/general/oddsandends.html. (Northmetpit (talk) 09:24, 24 January 2011 (UTC))

I have made up a full route map for the Grand Union Canal
our LSE Libya LInks page
It has all locks, main road bridges, rail bridges, aquaducts, wharfs, winding holes and marinas.
It also has all arms that join the canal shown.
My problem is that I have no idea how to add this to the web page.
It is currently in an excel spread sheet format but can be put into a word document.

Hiya, thanks for helping out with the LSE Libya Links page. We really appreciate. I have now removed the external links in the body of the text. Perhaps you could review the page again and delete the message at the top? If there is anything else you want us to do, we're happy to do it! We really want this page to become as good as possible, meaning in accordance with WIkipedia standards. Some major editing is still required, we know, but we are working on it. (Since this is an unfolding news story, it's a bit difficult to keep up with all events -- especially if you have other things to do in your life ...)

The article Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts correctly describes it, as far as I can see, as an organisation with a membership of the 47 local wildlife trusts, which is known as The Wildlife Trusts, but which also has a separate grants unit. See http://www.wildlondon.org.uk/Aboutus/TheWildlifeTrusts/tabid/225/language/en-GB/Default.aspx and http://www.wildlifetrusts.org/index.php?section=about. However, there is also a separate article The Wildlife Trusts which confusingly describes the RSWT as also part of the partnership. I think it may be better to merge the two articles, but I am not sure how to suggest this. What do you think? I have again deleted investigative journalism as medical ref in article Ketamine. This is hearsay, by lay persons who are out for sensational reports.

It is therefore tainted by this interest in the sensation. It also changes from day to day, just dependent on what the sought of sensation is, and also in such cases like drug use, what the sought of drug political goal is.

As such it is rather volatile and unreliable material and to be excluded as a medical reference. WP has guidelines, what is to be used as a medical reference: It are secondary sources like recognized textbooks, and it are review articles in peer reviewed publications. It are not case reports, letters to the editor, self-published materials and journalist sources.

It are also not primary sources, as long as the results are not recognized part of the common and secured medical knowledge. Otherwise WP may take on the volatile and sensational character of investigative journalism itself, rather than being encyclopedic.

Photograph of Barking Barrier

[edit]

Can you post a coordinate for the source of this photograph. I would like to visit this viewpoint and would be useful to see exactly from where it was taken. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xintiandi (talkcontribs) 15:04, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This was approximately where I was standing. 51.5158,0.0979 The park is on the east side of the mouth of Barking Creek. It can be accessed from River Road. btw to sign your posts type four tildes (~) Grim23 10:52, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Bastøy Prison.jpg.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 18:11, 5 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Grand union canal route map

[edit]

I have made up a full route map for the Grand Union Canal It has all locks, main road bridges, rail bridges, aquaducts, wharfs, winding holes and marinas. It also has all arms that join the canal shown. My problem is that I have no idea how to add this to the web page. It is currently in an excel spread sheet format but can be put into a word document. Welcome back!

[edit]

Hello! It appears you have edited again recently and I thought I would give you a formal welcome back to Wikipedia! I noticed your username at the list of missing Wikipedians which I will remove. If you ever go dormant again or retire (hope you don’t!) you can leave a message on your user page. Glad to have you back, happy editing! Lima Bean Farmer (talk) 18:50, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User Roger 8 Roger

[edit]

Hello Grim23, you are a legend of London articles and I hope I can one day reach your stature here. I am reaching out to you because I have an issue with the user Roger 8 Roger. Their POV is undermining the guidelines and consensus which you worked so hard to establish. I just wanted to bring this user to your attention in the hopes you could assist me in refuting their nonsense. Justgravy (talk) 17:48, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

[edit]

HEy! Just in case you didn't notice your signature was edited ever so slightly as it uses font tags which are now obsolete. I know nothing about this, I'm simply telling you in case you didn't see the edit summary mentioning it. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 00:30, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I hadn't noticed, thank you for informing me - Grim23 01:03, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, sorry, I accidentally removed more text than I meant to, I have restored all the text. That being said, I hope you will read the policy on a neutral point of view. Thank you for your edits. Grim23 20:05, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, can I put again the info of Billboard, please? The source is very accurate. I'm not lying or exagerating. Thank you. ImmaSumack (talk) 10:33, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
