The article as presently written describes the monument as "monolithic" in a couple places, but is also rather explicit in describing it as being made of multiple blocks. I'm pretty sure it's not monolithic, and the original editor probably misunderstood "monolithic" to mean "big and made of stone", but I didn't change it just in case I'm misunderstanding something about the monument, which I've never seen myself. --[[User:Spatrick99|Spatrick99]] ([[User talk:Spatrick99|talk]]) 14:37, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

hollow insides.....

[edit]

The monument has a smaller pyramid on the inside, with a hollow between the two.. the hollow is roughly 3 ft wide.. I was there in 1982 and was able to easily touch both sides, at 8 years old. I returned in 1988 and the entrance was sealed.. I'm pretty sure the entrance was on the south side... Anyway, should anyone be interested in finding verifiable information that isnt first hand knowledge this might prove to be a clue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.146.33.133 (talk) 06:11, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Help

[edit]

I have edited myself into a corner with the article's footnotes. For some reason, these two footnotes do not display in the list of Notes at the bottom of the article. (EDIT THIS PAGE TO SEE NOTES) Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Fishdecoy (talk) 01:50, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thats a good question. I pinged the help desk. CosmicPenguin (talkWP:WYOHelp!) 02:45, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
One thing I noticed -- there are two references named "uprr" - that may be the problem. I don't know enough about the subject to fix it. – ukexpat (talk) 03:16, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Monolith?

[edit]

The article as presently written describes the monument as "monolithic" in a couple places, but is also rather explicit in describing it as being made of multiple blocks. I'm pretty sure it's not monolithic, and the original editor probably misunderstood "monolithic" to mean "big and made of stone", but I didn't change it just in case I'm misunderstanding something about the monument, which I've never seen myself. --Spatrick99 (talk) 14:37, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
