ban 194.138.12.144
[edit]it wouldn't be such a bad idea to ban 194.138.12.144 who often comes here to vandalise the page with his nonsense and lies. he provides no proffs about mr. jelinčič'es ideologies and yet he keeps changing them. he also adds his own POV to other subjects and deletes everything he finds to be against him.
problematical Jelincic
[edit]This Jelincic guy is really interesting and funny, namely: the family name Jelincic is actually of croatian roots and it would be interesting to explore why is he figting so hard against it's own roots!? He doesn't like Croats but "he is a great admierer of Tito (who was Croat) :-)), so probably (Mr.?) Jelincic has to grow up :-). He is actually a hard slovenian nationalist and even chauvinist, he isn't only against Croats, he is sharply against Austrians also, because he believes that the Austrians have taken a part of "historically undeemed slovenian teritory" :-). This is actually one really funny guy, fortunatelly he has no power to do anything and (thanks God) he doesn't have army to solve the problems, othervise we would be facing a war in the middle of Europe. After all, what he presents are his own believes - his own truth. Quite unbeliveable guy, he's really funny... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.138.12.144 (talk) 08:52, 12 April 2007 (UTC).

Jelinčič
[edit]Yeah, I agree Mr. from Austria (seems like you work in Siemens). How ever, this guy is simply nuts and not just funny.
dear austrian
[edit]Of course your reaction is understoo, after all a traditional Haider supporter would thing of no less, despite the fact that mr. Haider is a half arab, while mr. Jelinčič'es parents are both proven Slovenes. Now let's look at your lies together, shall we?
-- "the family name Jelincic is actually of croatian roots" - care to prove? More traditional croatian names end with -vič or -vić, -ič is a Slovene version and has similar meaning as russian -ov. Of course, such understandings are not to be expected from a germanophile.
-- "he is a great admierer of Tito (who was Croat)" - Tito was a half Slovene born in a border village, just like your Adolf. There's nothing wrong with germans taking this modest austrian citizen for their own, why complaining about Tito then?
-- "historically undeemed slovenian teritory" - Slavic culture was present there far before teutons decided to move in and after a stage plebesticide after WW1 the land belonged to the austrofascists.
-- "othervise we would be facing a war in the middle of Europe." - your Haider caused EU sanctions in austria and you say that our leader would stage a war? This is called hypocracy.
-- "After all, what he presents are his own believes - his own truth." - there are many truths of course, I for one do not belive things such as austrian "culture" or "literature" exist, for I am only familiar with german one.
If you wish to discuss it again feel free to and I will gladly bash your lies.

Balkan boy
[edit]So i see that you guys have no ideas about who is who?? We all know who Jelincic doesnt like and who he likes, but its obvious that you guys dont know that. "tito was a croat too" -- now why would you say that? If you dont understand ex-Yugoslavian nationalism, you will be treated as a fool, you are being like americans during the war in Bosnia, when they attacked Serbs in Bosnia, because "someone" attacked east Sarajevo, they didnt even thought that maybe there are some serbs living in Sarajevo? They stopped the air strike next day due to informations given by UN, that serbs have lived in that part before the war and were also protected by UN from muslim liberation army. Maybe you will find more or less about Croatia online, but going there and ask about heritage .. yeah i thougt so.. Just to inform you some more, Tito's mother was Slovenian, indeed his father was Croat, Tito him self was a pure Yugoslavian, he hated wars and nationalism, he imprisoned Franjo Tudjman (ex-croatian president) for "extreme nationalism", thats why he was an idol to lots of young politicians (the theory of many nations in one nation, aka american democracy - not so democratic there), Jelincic was one of many who saw him as a very great leader, even though many countries in the West called him dictator (in late 40's Yugoslavia was in cold relationships with Russia, so he was called a dictator from Moscow, at that time London called him "every country in the world needs a president like him"). You can talk everything about everyone on the internet, to make you feel better you can even lie, but be careful talking about great people..
Some very useful sources: -movie: "Yugoslavia - The avoidable war" -books: "R.G.D. Laffan - Serbs" "Janez Jansa - Okopi"
The book every democratic person should read, specially the governments: "R.K.Kent - The Many Faces Of An Anti-Colonial War" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.198.105.139 (talk) 22:40, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Since Jelinčič is a nationalist and known for his sometimes strong point of view, I suggest sourcing every claim on his opinions when adding them to the article. Better nothing than unsources claims. WP:BLP --Tone 16:39, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
Is his brother's name Zdravko?
[edit]I mean - the brother of - Zmago Jelinčič Plemeniti? -- Imbris (talk) 22:42, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Honorific
[edit]"Plemeniti" is a honorific, and per WP:NCNT honorifics should be reserved to the first mention of the name in the lead (at least for British peerage, but I believe it can be applied to Slovenia as well). Admiral Norton (talk) 15:02, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- Why does he have the honorific anyway, can the article include an explanation? --Joy [shallot] (talk) 17:00, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- I was surprised to see this, I've never seen him referred to as "Plemeniti", as part of his name, yet it appears to be quite common (70000+ Google hits). GregorB (talk) 09:55, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
1991 war?
[edit]is this the same zmago jelincic? if yes, he participated in this war. however important his involvement was, it seems mentionable in his biography! --Severino (talk) 16:53, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
