The section on the use of Fräulein for unmarried women, beginning with "Some feminists..." is loaded with prejudice for those who "insist on" the use of Frau regardless of marital status. Additionally, the article on Fräulein states (with references) that it has been officially "banned", that it is "outdated", and that this fact "should have reached even the most obdurate grouch". :This article would have been up to date some 50 years ago... No one under the age of 90 uses the word 'Fräulein' - which makes all of the Germans according to this article feminists ;) nor does anyone still uses 'Frau' followed by her first name. --213.191.34.50 (talk) 07:40, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

Fräulein

[edit]

The section on the use of Fräulein for unmarried women, beginning with "Some feminists..." is loaded with prejudice for those who "insist on" the use of Frau regardless of marital status. Additionally, the article on Fräulein states (with references) that it has been officially "banned", that it is "outdated", and that this fact "should have reached even the most obdurate grouch".
