Okay, here goes.. I've made additions to the "Urethral Stricture" article in order to help improve the flow. I did not take ownership because a few contributors did a nice job of compiling additions prior to mine. Next on the hit list was "Urethrotomy", where I attempted to make a concise, but thorough, understandable document. It took nine edits over a 15-day period to tweak into an effective page. Since "Urethroplasty" is the gold-standard with regards to the surgical repair of strictures, and because the surgery requires complex micro routines, I am going to attempt to be very thorough with the document, and this will take some time, so please bear with me! To all: My attempt at recreating this article was done with the intention of providing clarity and understanding to the prospective urethroplasty candidate. It is written using information compiled from international sources, and reflects the current standard of care in North America, South America, and Europe. Richard Santucci, M.D.

These documents were blindly referenced in the previous article, and there was no reference material extrapolated from the information (used within that prior version). It is an impressive body of work, and Dr. Santucci is arguably one of the top three reconstructive urologists in the United States, and among the top ten worldwide. It would be a crime to not supply reference to this very small portion of his body of work:

Joel Gelman, M.D.

While researching the history of the previous document, it was apparent that a second reconstructive urologist's work had been referenced and deleted by someone, although of good faith and pure intent - as vandalism - who was unaware of the status of their author, Dr. Joel Gelman,M.D., also (arguably) one of the top three/top ten reconstructive urologists as previously referenced. Here is some of his listed research as applicable to this article:

The addition of the above posted reference material is intended to augment the information put-forth in Wikipedia-Urethroplasty. As of this writing I am researching the account of a laboratory grown human urethra, and the possibility of its inclusion within this article (re: the possibility of urethral transplantation with laboratory grown autograft tissue).
