Honestly, I don't know for sure if the Nintendo 3DS uses 24-bit or 32-bit color depth. I reverted your [http://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Comparison_of_Nintendo_portable_consoles&diff=523866083&oldid=523330129 edit] on the grounds that the amount of colors – 16.7 million – isn't enough to determine the color depth. This [http://computer.howstuffworks.com/monitor4.htm article] might help explain the concept in more detail. Unfortunately, I've discovered that a lot of specs listed on the comparison page are uncited, and some of the sources used are just blogs or based on unofficial data.
