Reynolds co-founded the [[Sup Pop]] records band "The Blue Rags" in 1998 with whom he toured for 5 years and recorded two full-length ablums. He then built a recording studio in [[Asheville]] where he made records for 7 years, and continued to tour with various bands including [[Drugmoney]] and [[Donna the Buffallo]]. Reynolds joined [[Band of Horses]] in 2007, and by 2010 the band was nominated for the Grammy award for Best Alternative Album.<ref>[http://www.buffaloathome.com/dct/62/id/545604/mid/1752/Band-Of-Horses-Surprised--Thrilled-By-Grammy-Nomination.aspx Band of Horses, Thrilled By Grammy Nomination]</ref> Reynolds contributed production, engineering, bass, and a co-write for the song "Life on Earth" which was included on the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Soundtrack.
