The reason given for Magicbeansarereal's block is: "vandalism article". I wrote this article with precise, thoughtful wording respectful of Wikipedia philosophies. Is this a short-term IP block? For how long? And for what reason was my IP blocked instead of my user name or just a simple ban? Please explain how I was asked politely, showed evidence, considered, then blocked. If someone thought that I was engaging in an edit war, than I should explain that I was editing to follow suggestions. Perhaps I should have previewed first before i submitted. Thanks. |

The serendipitous turn of phrase refers to the famous story of [[Jack and the Beanstalk|Jack and the Beanstalk]] in which the central character, Jack, earnestly attempts to convince his personal acquaintances the validity of his newfound treasure. The phrase also indicates a certain mental state of questioning or reaffirming to oneself and to others the reality of one's own skills and surroundings. |
