Jacob’s father and uncles make up the The Latimore Brothers. By the time the singer/dancer turned 9-years old he knew he wanted to pursue a career in the music industry. Jacob’s team set up a premiere showcase to introduce him to the Atlanta music scene as he performed for executives and tastemakers. The showcase attracted Grammy award winning producer Rodney Jerkins and R&B singer Lloyd and introduced him to producers Corna Boys and Rico Love, who produced his second viral single “Superstar” that charted on Billboard R&B and Hip Hop Sales Charts.

When his mother brought home a promo tape of [[B2K]]'s first concert appearance he watched the video repeatedly until he perfected every move. I remember doing the dance moves all the rime they are one of the best groups ever." He also was Part of A club in his hometown. As an actor, he is best known for his roles in Black Nativity, The Maze Runner, Collateral Beauty, Detroit, and The Chi. He also starred in the Netflix Original movie Candy Jar alongside Sami Gayle.
