If you have a problem with material in any Wikipedia article, the thing to do is to discuss it with other editors on that article's talk page. In any event, since an editor with a conflict of interest may have problems editing from a [[WP:NROV|neutral point of view]], it's best not to edit articles directly when it concerns a subject you may have a connection with. Editing with a conflict of interest

[edit]

Hello. If you are connected with former Broadway producer Cyma Rubin, as your name would seem to indicate, then you should be aware of our policy on editing with a conflict of interest. I have reverted the edit you made to Greaser's Palace because it removed information that was supported by a citation from a reliable source - please do not do that again. If you have a problem with material in any Wikipedia article, the thing to do is to discuss it with other editors on that article's talk page. If they agree with you, then the material can be altered or removed, although that's less likely to happen if it's come from a reliable source. In any event, since an editor with a conflict of interest may have problems editing from a neutral point of view, it's best not to edit articles directly when it concerns a subject you may have a connection with. Discuss with other editors, and convince them that any changes you're interested in should be made. Thanks. Beyond My Ken (talk) 22:00, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the material you objected to from Greaser's Palace, as it was not supported by the source given. This is in line with our policy on biographies on living persons. My apologies on behalf of us all. Beyond My Ken (talk) 00:12, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
