==File permission problem with File:Robert Honablue.jpg== |
|||
|
|||
Thanks for uploading :File:Robert Honablue.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license. |
|||
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either |
|||
* make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or |
|||
* Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion. |
|||
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. |
|||
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as non-free fair use or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. |
|||
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in [ your upload log]. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Your question at the Teahouse.
[edit]Hello, I have answered your question at the Teahouse. You seams to have managed here quite well on your own, writing an article and all. Good job. I have taken the liberty of providing you with a user page when I restored your sandbox. When an article is moved from the sandbox an automatic redirect is generated in the sandbox. I just removed that. If you want to use more than one sandbox that is perfectly fine. Just create them. Cheers, w.carter-Talk 16:58, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
- Hello again, your user page is not for creating articles, it is where you describe yourself as an editor on the Wikipedia. Look at some other editors user pages and you'll get the idea. Also, please note that you cannot review your own article. That has to be done by someone else. You should also take a look at Wikipedia:Your first article and Help:Referencing for beginners to check your sorces. Best, w.carter-Talk 19:44, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:The Walker Sisters.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:The Walker Sisters.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:The Fylls Live @ Trash Bar.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:The Fylls Live @ Trash Bar.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 16:47, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of The New Tarot
[edit]Hello Gtseyfried,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The New Tarot for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Fevrret (talk) 20:04, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
Draft:Robert Honablue concern
[edit]Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Robert Honablue, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.
You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.
Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:35, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Robert Honablue
[edit]Hello Gtseyfried. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Robert Honablue".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply db-afc
or db-g13
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code:
, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 14:52, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
