He made his provincial debut for [[Manawatu]] in 2002 and played for them until he transferred to [[Taranaki]] in 2004. He plays for the Hurricanes in the Super 14 and for Taranaki in the National Provincial Championship.
Although born in [[Palmerston North]], Eaton grew up on a farm near the small community of [[Colyton, New Zealand|Colyton]].


He attended [[Feilding Intermediate]] and then [[Palmerston North Boys' High School]].
