Seun started Nairaland in 2005 for the purpose of income. He initially planned to be making around 60,000 Nigerian Naira per month when he started but things came out too positive for him that he was getting much more than tha.
Seun created a "frontpage" for Nairaland forum to attract more visitors to the website and to make it easy for visitors to be informed.
Years later Nairaland's success became really huge that the website became the most visited site in Nigeria and Africa.
Seun is a private person, he really doesn't show himself to the world.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.takemetonaija.com/2014/08/about-seun-osewa-biography-life-and-news.html|title=Nairaland Owner SEUN OSEWA Full Biography,Life And Net worth|accessdate=July 9, 2015}}</ref>
