<onlyinclude>{{Episode table |
|||
Thomas arrives at the wharf, where the standard-gauge and narrow-gauge lines meet. He met James there, and was supposed to collect James' truck of flour. But Thomas bumps the flour truck hard, causing the door of the truck to break! Thomas tries to play hide-and-seek with it, but James kept finding him because the flour created a path along the track. Eventually, Thomas realized this, and must collect more flour, but the mill is closed, and the trucks are all empty. Dusty Dave, however, points out one last full truck of flour. Together, Thomas and James move the other trucks out of the way and deliver the flour in time for the party. |

Sir Handel returns to the narrow-gauge railway after being at the stone quarry all summer. He is taking some apples and he must be careful not to bruise them. But Sir Handel has a problem. He cannot make it up the hill, being an old engine, and asks Peter Sam to help him. Hiding the fact that he is not feeling well, he claims that he delivered the apples on his own. The same happens when he needs Duncan's help while taking some sheep. Sir Handel is doing a good job of keeping his secret, but soon he has to take Mr. and Mrs. Percival on a picnic at the top of a mountain. Once he again, he rattles and rocks, and, at first, Mr. Percival wants to send him back to the stone quarry, the place for bumpy engines. But instead he brings a repairman to fix Sir Handel and restore his title as the smoothest engine on the narrow-gauge railway! |

|||
As Thomas is on his way to collect the children for their picnic, he meets Jeremy, a new jet plane, at his hangar. Jeremy believes that being a jet plane is the best; even better than being a steam engine. Thomas worries that jet planes are generally better, and that being a steam engine is no good at all. But when Jeremy spots a storm on the way, they must relocate the picnic. Thomas offers that they have it at Jeremy's hanger. Thomas soon realizes that being a steam engine has its good qualities, too. |

===6. Duncan Drops a Clanger=== |
|||
It is the country fair in the hills and Duncan is to take the bell from the clock tower to be specially polished. Duncan enjoys the sound the bell makes going over the bumpy tracks. He enjoys it so much that he does not listen to the foreman’s instructions to go slowly. He does not listen to anyone telling him to slow down, until disaster strikes and Duncan hits a dip in the track - the bell bounces off his flat-bed and down the hill. Duncan is horrified. In the quiet, he hears the bell chiming – it is stuck in a tree! Duncan races to it, just in time for it to fall back on his flatbed. Slowly and carefully Duncan takes the bell to the polishers. At the fair, the shiny bell rings and Duncan thinks it is the best sound in the whole world! |

Thomas & Friends is a children's television series about the engines and other characters working on the railways of the Island of Sodor, and is based on The Railway Series books written by the Reverend W. Awdry.[1] The tenth series was first broadcast in 2006, narrated by Michael Angelis for the UK audiences and by Michael Brandon in the US. Most episodes in this series had different titles in UK and the US.
This was the last series to utilize the instrumental chorus of the Engine Roll Call in the opening sequence. Starting from series 11, the lyrics were incorporated into the theme sequence and sung by children. Starting with this series, all 30-minute episodes included only two mini-episodes.[2]
