Madalina Bellariu Ion is a Meisner trained Romanian/Italian actress. Her most notable television appearance is in the TV series The Young Pope (HBO , Sky Atlantic and Channel+) with Jude Law and Daiane Keaton, directed by Paolo Sorrentino

Madalina's other film credits include Blue Moon(comedy-horror film) , where she plays the lead Nicoletta , a werewolf . The short film received a nomination for best film at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

Madalina has attracted the Romanian media's attention in 2014 with the release of Prietena ta music video acting along with veteran theatre actor Dragos Stemate and renowned singer Randi .

Madalina played a pivotal role in the official adaptation of the 2013 American horror film Oculus.

Relativity media, B4U and Intrepid pictures collaborated to produce this venture for Bollywood. Named Dobaara - See your evil the film had a theatrical release worldwide in June 2017 . Madalina received great appreciation for her performance from many critics.

Madalina has recently completed the principal photography for an all female cast Italian comedy - Alice Non Lo Sa(Alice doesn't have any idea). Madalina plays one of the lead roles, Liana, a Romanian hair stylist, alongside Italian film stars Violante Placido (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,The American) , Claudia Pandolfi (Un medico in famiglia, Distretto di Polizia).

Madalina is fluent in five languages: English, Italian, Romanian, French, Spanish and she is learning Hindi.
