Though [[Hindu]] people are the majority, this village has exclusive streets for [[Christians]] and [[Muslims]] inside the village. There are many Hindu temples, a couple of churches and a mosque, thus servicing the needs of any religion.
The people are tolerant and have been living in harmony for many years, putting aside their religious differences. The "Jesus Redeems", a well known church, caters to people from all over the world. Every Saturday is reserved for various speakers talking about Christianity.<ref>http://www.jesusredeems.com/Meeting_Schedule.asp</ref> Ramadhan is celebrated equally well in the Muslim street, where Hindu/Christian friends are usually invited for a big feast on the fast breaking day.
