Call Me Crazy
General tone of article/ colloquial writing style
This entire article needs to be worked on by someone au fait with her work; it's all too conversational and colloquially written, probably reflecting a younger fanbase's interest in the subject, but still comes off as very poorly written and completely unencyclopaedic in many ways. <!-- Template:Unsigned IP --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.2.126.60 (talk) 23:23, 1 June 2018 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

I fully believe Gabbie Hanna's occupation should be changed from Internet Personality to Musician/Singer. Not only has she stated herself

that she's a musician and not an influencer, but Gabbie Hanna is currently less than 200K streams away from reaching 143 MILLION streams across all of her discography on Spotify. This doesn't include any of her music ON YouTube Music, on iTunes, or any other streaming service. I've seen the argument that she still continues uploading on her vlog and podcast channel-- yes. But the same argument wouldn't up-hold if you were to apply it to somebody like Will Smith, who is clearly not a YouTuber/Internet Personality, but has uploaded more recently and receives more views than Hanna currently does on her main channel. I'm not comparing the two, just showing why that doesn't make sense. She's just signed a record deal with a label that has worked with Atlantic Records, Warner Music Japan, Live Nation, and LEGO , showing that she's currently advancing in her music career in a positive manner, while halting her YouTube career. This isn't speculation either, as Hanna stated this in her video "Jessi Smiles, Trisha Paytas, Alx James, & Beyoncé" . With all of this, Hanna has also stated that her main source of income is not YouTube. Its from her Patreon, Which is where she- in her own words- is "creating music, darling." . Her Patreon is where she uploads unreleased music content. Hanna has been releasing music since October 18, 2017 so it isn't like she's a brand new artist, either. All of this combined just shows that the Wikipedia page deserves to be changed.

"Monster (Reborn)"
Landon Tewers
There has been debate as to whether "Monster (Reborn)" is an official single or a promotional single, as sources conflict with one another. In order to avoid an edit war, please list below whether you support or oppose listing "Monster (Reborn)" as an official single so a consensus can be reached. Gemsweater1 (talk) 18:01, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
:Hi! I see you classified "Monster (Reborn)" as a promo single because Hanna was saying something about it in a YouTube video. However, it received the same treatment as "Honestly (Encore)"—which is a single—so there is no reason for me on why not to list that as a single. We could consider this as an encore as well (even though not named "...(Encore)"), at least that's how I will refer to it in the "Monster" article that I'll write. Cartoon network freak (talk) 23:37, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
:Pragmatic proposal for the lede, just write "several" instead of "six and one promotional". One of the two references is iTunes, it does not mention "promotional", and the Twitter reference failed WP:42 no matter what it said (it's broken as of today.)
:I'd be actually interested in some kind of MOS guideline about what "generally" counts as a "single" if it's available individually, e.g., as BqPpCkGno6M, but is "officially/only" a part of an EP on vinyl.
:N.B., "generally" == "you can ignore it for compelling reasons right down to a personal 'this is just epic'": My +1 from the IPs for "epic", a clear conflict with "not found on discogs", so far for the guaranteed to be unreliable sources. &ndash;84.46.53.242 (talk) 19:18, 22 January 2019 (UTC)

About adding her ethnicity
Recently, there have been changes to this page regarding her ethnicity. There is nothing currently stating her ethnicity in the article as someone claimed that proof regarding her ethnicity was a debatable subject matter. While that's true for her more full or detailed ancestral composition, Gabbie has mentioned many times that she's part Lebanese or Middle Eastern and has mentioned a few times that she is also French and Polish. I'm like 99% sure she is Lebanese and Polish from her dad's side and French from her mom's side. In her first YouTube video she mentions her three main ethnicities but that video is now private on her channel. There's a lot of sources, including sources from Gabbie herself outside of that first YouTube video that state her ethnicity. I just think that's more than enough compared to other articles about famous people including their ethnicity. I would add her ethnicity but I would leave it up to more experienced users here to edit the article in a better way and to pick the most ideal source(s). Changing Internet Personality to Musician/Singer.

[edit]

I fully believe Gabbie Hanna's occupation should be changed from Internet Personality to Musician/Singer. Not only has she stated herself [1] that she's a musician and not an influencer, but Gabbie Hanna is currently less than 200K streams away from reaching 143 MILLION streams across all of her discography on Spotify. She's just signed a record deal with a label that has worked with Atlantic Records, Warner Music Japan, Live Nation, and LEGO [2], showing that she's currently advancing in her music career in a positive manner, while halting her YouTube career. This isn't speculation either, as Hanna stated this in her video "Jessi Smiles, Trisha Paytas, Alx James, & Beyoncé" [3]. With all of this, Hanna has also stated that her main source of income is not YouTube. Its from her Patreon, Which is where she- in her own words- is "creating music, darling." [4]. Her Patreon is where she uploads unreleased music content. Hanna has been releasing music since October 18, 2017 [5] so it isn't like she's a brand new artist, either. All of this combined just shows that the Wikipedia page deserves to be changed.

About adding her ethnicity

[edit]
