Hi!

I recently submitted an article for Allie X's upcoming studio album, ''Cape God'' for review. After reviewing it, you declined this submission and gave the following comments:

"Too much reliance on self-published social media, needs more external news sources to review the album."

"Please minimize references to Tweets, replace with interviews or secondary source coverage. Remove Spotify references."

Now, I'll start by saying that I can try to look for secondary sources, however, there might not be much. So far, I found Allie's official Twitter page to be the best source for information about the album, especially its lyrical themes (she always discussed them in a tweet / thread after a single's release). Secondly, you finished your second comment by saying "Remove Spotify references". I use Spotify as my main music service and it allows me to see a song's credits (which is where I got the information from). You seem to be OK with the Apple Music references, however, since I don't use that service, I don't know if a way of seeing credits is possible without having to sign up. If you use Apple Music, could you tell me if there's a way to do that? If there isn't, could you explain why I should remove the Spotify references?

Alternatively you can just add a "Source: spotify/itunes (ref)" in the track list header, and have an embedded note to Spotify. As for the Tweets, it would be preferred to have her discuss her album in an interview from secondary source instead of overwhelming the references with self-published Tweets. Also, if there's a way to point out the Billboard references. I disagree with your remark that "Wikipedia isn't a catalog / promotions tracker like that." It's the same type as lists for Xbox Games with Gold and Playstation Plus Instant Game Collection games:

Hi AngusWOOF, one non Massachusetts review is nystagereview.com, which I removed because I wasn't sure it was a notable enough source. https://nystagereview.com/2019/12/15/from-massachusetts-moby-dick-a-nantucket-sleigh-ride-of-an-adventure/
The show is otherwise of national interest because the creators and cast are current Broadway-level folks, and the show is likely intended as an out-of-town tryout for a Broadway transfer, as suggested by one of the reviews. Other evidence of national level interest are the multiple articles covering its development and productions in playbill.com and broadwayworld.com (I can get links later)

It also had a production in New York City at the museum of natural history, which I mention in the article, though I wasn't able to find professional critic's reviews. Hi, thanks for reviewing the draft for 'https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Nicolas_Porter_(dentist)'. However, I need your help in making this article better, if you can, please. The moment I add anything that would make this subject stand out, and there is quite a bit of verifiable content to do that, some other editor would call it 'promotional' as it is already written under the review and delete the draft. How do I, then, make a subject stand out keeping the tone and content of the article neutral at the same time?

I have tried everything with multiple article submissions and it now just seems that drafts are rejected simply because they are paid contributions, even though I make sure that I disclose it without being asked. I am trying my best to follow the guidelines and write only neutral content using verifiable sources about notable subjects. A person who has been awarded and recognized by notable sources for his work (links provided), has changed the landscape of dentistry in several US states by providing low-cost and free treatment plans, has provided free treatment worth millions of dollars to thousands of people - I fail to understand how this person is not notable and note-worthy for other editors, regardless of his article's status as a paid contribution.
