The format X GO Station is a strange outlier; I can't think of any other stations in North America that follow such a convention. This was discussed during the adoption process: [[Wikipedia_talk:Naming_conventions_(Canadian_stations)/Archive_1#"GO_Station"_discussion]], but consensus wasn't reached and we just let it be. I think it would be worth having a new discussion at [[Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (Canadian stations)]]. [edit]@Cards84664: WP:CANSTATION makes no distinction between shared stations and stations with a single service (except where disambiguation is needed). The format of "X station" is used unless there is a WP:COMMONNAME that is consistently used by reliable sources. The name "Oakville GO Station" is used by CTV, The Hamilton Spectator, The Globe and Mail, and InHalton. I suggest we move back to long standing title of Oakville GO Station (along with Aldershot, Brampton, Georgetown, Guildwood, Malton, and Oshawa) and then someone can follow the steps for reqesting a potentially controversial move if they choose.
