[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "CC.TulaneLibrary", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it seems to be the name of an organization. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 21:17, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Does the "CC" portion represent your initials or other unique identifier, or a job title/role there? --Orange Mike | Talk 21:28, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The CC in my username is a unique identifier (and is my full first name). There is another CC with the same last name as me who is an author/public figure and they usually get our full name as a username first.CC.TulaneLibrary (talk) 21:46, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If CC is unique to you, the name is fine. Apologies. 331dot (talk) 21:49, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If it would make it less confusing for other users, I could change my name to CC@TulaneLibrary so that it was slightly more clear that I am one individual of the organization? CC.TulaneLibrary (talk) 21:53, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Usernames cannot contain @ for technical reasons. You could use the word "at" instead. It may help you to clarify your username, but that is up to you if you wish to do it. You are free to take as much time as you need to decide, as well. 331dot (talk) 11:29, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Per this discussion, I've gone ahead and removed the tracking category. If you would like to be renamed to "CC at TulaneLibrary" or something else, please let me know and I can assist. --TheSandDoctor Talk 05:07, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
