Kamran Rastegar (كامران رستگار) is an American scholar of comparative literature, specializing in Arabic and Persian literatures, and film and visual studies of Iran and the Arab world.[1] He is a professor in the Department of International Literary and Cultural Studies at Tufts University.[2] Rastegar is also a music composer and has scored the soundtracks to several films.
