My feeling is modifying the draft to something like below might be more likely to be accepted or not deleted. I think the current draft lacks enough citations and sources for the information and many would find it overpromotional. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 16:37, 11 March 2015 (UTC)) (16:36, 11 March 2015 (UTC))[reply]

[edit]

Santosh Mehrotra is an indian economist, social policy analyst and media commentator. Deacon has noted Mehotra's "marked impact upon global social policy discourses" and his editorship, with Jolly of "the influential Development with a Human Face".[1] His research interests have been wide with work on industry and trade issues, the impact of macro-economic policy on health and education, the informal sector, and the economics of health and education but he is perhaps best known for his work on Human Development. He is professor at the Centre for Informal Sector and Labour Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and formerly served as the Director General of The Institute of Applied Manpower Research (Now the National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development). He provides regular commentary in the Indian media. He also served as the team leader for the 2011 India Human Development Report.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
