I propose changing "During the detention, he was taken to the police station to perform a drug test, and was released afterwards, finding no traces of narcotics in his system." to "During the detention, he was taken to the police station to perform a drug test and was released afterwards. The rapid test was positive for traces of narcotics, and he may be subject to fines depending on the results of more detailed analysis, which should be completed within several weeks."
The original line is factually incorrect. He was released, but not because there were no traces of narcotics in his system. Snoop Dogg's rapid test actually tested positive for traces of narcotics. The sample has been submitted for additional analysis, but the final results of the more detailed analysis will not be ready for several weeks. He may be subject for fines depending on the results of these additional tests.

Snoop Dogg has appeared in numerous films and television episodes throughout his career. His starring roles in film includes The Wash (with Dr. Dre) and the horror film Bones. He also co-starred with rapper Wiz Khalifa in the 2012 movie Mac and Devin Go to High School which a sequel has been announced.[41] He has had various supporting and cameo roles in film, including Half Baked, Training Day, Starsky & Hutch, and Brüno. He also appears in pitch perfect 2 (released 2015) Snoop Dogg at WrestleMania XXIV at Orlando's Citrus Bowl with Ashley Massaro and tag team partner Maria, March 30, 2008
He has starred in three television programs: sketch-comedy show Doggy Fizzle Televizzle, variety show Dogg After Dark, and reality show Snoop Dogg's Father Hood (also starring Snoop's wife and children). He has starred in episodes of King of the Hill, Las Vegas, and Monk, one episode of Robot Chicken,[42] as well as three episodes of One Life to Live.[43] He has participated in two Comedy Central Roasts, for Flavor Flav and Donald Trump. Cameo television appearances include episodes of The L Word, Weeds, Entourage, I Get That a Lot, and The Price Is Right. He has also appeared in an episode of the YouTube video series, Epic Rap Battles of History as Moses.[44]
In 2000, Snoop (as "Michael J. Corleone") directed Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle, a pornographic film produced by Hustler. The film, combining hip hop with x-rated material, was a huge success and won "Top Selling Release of the Year" at the 2002 AVN Awards.[45] Snoop then directed Snoop Dogg's Hustlaz: Diary of a Pimp in 2002 (using the nickname "Snoop Scorsese").[46]
Snoop founded his own production company, Snoopadelic Films, in 2005. Their debut film was Boss'n Up, a film inspired by Snoop Dogg's album R&G, starring Lil Jon and Trina.[47]
On March 30, 2008 he appeared at WrestleMania XXIV as a Master of Ceremonies for a tag team match between Maria and Ashley Massaro as they took on Beth Phoenix and Melina.[48]
On several occasions, Snoop has appeared at The Players Ball in support of Bishop Don Magic Juan.[49][50] Juan appeared on Snoop's videos for "Boss Playa", "A.D.I.D.A.C.", "P.I.M.P. (Remix)", "Nuthin' Without Me" and "A Pimp’s Christmas Song." Phillip banks (talk) 02:37, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
- Not done: - it was not necessary to copy this entire section to request this change. Your request should be in the format "please change X to Y", or in this case, "In the section 'Other ventures', at the end of the first paragraph, please add: 'He also appears in pitch perfect 2 (released 2015)'." Had you done that, it would have saved me combing through this post and the existing text to find the change you wanted to be made. However, you are also required to provide a reliable source for any requested edit, and you did not, so I cannot make this edit for you. Ivanvector 🍁 (talk) 02:47, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

Requested edits
I request that you have this in the "2014-now Bush" section, Snoop is making a new studio album coming July to be named "Tha Return of Doggystyle" and he has released a new single April 20, 2016 named "Late Nights" produced by Mike WiLL Made-It.

Firstly, it's obvious from a quick glance at all four of those first references that his first name is Calvin and it should be changed accordingly. Please changed "Cordozar Broadus" to "Calvin Broadus." Secondly, the sentence "Snoop Dogg has influenced the style of the Maltese rapper Hooligan" should be removed because although it is referenced, he has influenced a lot of people and there is no reason why he (Hooligan) specifically should be mentioned, especially when the article is about Snoop Dogg himself. It seems to have been added more for promotional purposes. —J
- Done. In addition to these changes, I have removed the reference to familysearch.org as it is generally not acceptable to use genealogy sites for personal information about living persons, and it is clearly incomplete/inaccurate. Ivanvector 🍁 (talk) 14:37, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
Can someone with edit privileges fix the “undeclared kr 227,000 in cash” under Legal issues. Norwegian krona comes after the amount, not US-style dollar sign first. Snoop Dogg (Calvin Broadus) does not show up in the ENTIRE yearbook for 1989, and 1988) I attended Long Beach Poly (I am also class of 1989, Poly) and have the original yearbooks. He is not in either 1989 or 1988. 71.95.198.118 (talk) 04:11, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

- Done Normally, this would not be done since your request is original research. However, after looking into this further the claim that he attended Long Beach Poly was not verified by the cited source. So I removed it per WP:BLP. --Stabila711 (talk) 07:06, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

Under the Other Ventures heading, the sentence "His starring roles in film include The Wash (with Dr. Dre) and the horror film Bones." After this sentence, one should add "He also appeared in the 1999 film Whiteboyz, a film about young boys in a virtually all-white Iowa town who aspire to become apart of the "gangsta rap" lifestyle."

Snoop Doggs arrest
When Snoop Dog was just 7 years old he was caught stealing a child's bike and was arrested for 1 day until his mom came and got him — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joshua15234 (talk • contribs) 14:37, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
With politeness, I'm not sure that's even legal at his age. Also, stealing bike is a fairly minor offense. (I an NOT encouraging criminality). The brave celery (talk) 14:38, 24 November 2017 (UTC)

Just wondering if we should include this.

Could someone add the noun "Records" to the third paragraph. While skimming I was stopped dead by the first sentence beginning "After leaving Death Row, Snoop signed with ...". It really needs to be "After leaving Death Row Records,". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elisevil (talk • contribs) 06:11, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
Birth date
As is not uncommon with biographies of entertainers, different reliable sources give different birth dates for Snoop Dogg. (See also Mariah Carey and Mick Mars.) Both Billboard and AllMusic.com give 1972. Jet and Biography.com give 1971. Under WP:BLP, we cannot arbitrarily say one set of reliable sources is correct and another set of reliable sources is wrong — that's POV. All we can do, as in those other examples, is list both until some definitive documentation comes out. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:08, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
Is anyone sure that the "cousins" listed in the infobox are real?
I think Snoop Dogg calls everyone his cousin because that's the way he talks. Just like "bro", one can call anyone a bro but they might not actually be brothers. Someone should re-check the information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheMagnificentist (talk • contribs) 07:09, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
Well, he called a guy called Whitey Ford his nephew, he said the same about gospel musician B.Slade. They're not listed. It looks pretty reliable, but we could double check. The brave celery (talk) 14:35, 24 November 2017 (UTC)

This article has multiple holes in the "Associated Acts" section, being that it's outdated. Occupation listings in the lead
As seen with this edit, which shows that I previously reverted the content, Squidward With Hair has added a number of unnecessary occupations to the lead. Squidward With Hair did this at other articles as well. I explained the issue with doing so, on Squidward With Hair's talk page, pointing to a Michael Jackson talk page discussion about going overboard with descriptors in the lead. I stated that, for the lead, we should be sticking primarily to what the subject is well known for.
Thoughts? It may be that we need a project-wide discussion about these extra descriptors since it keeps happening across Wikipedia. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 18:20, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
I see that Binksternet reverted. Also see this section on my talk page. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 20:08, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
- Squidward With Hair has been blocked as a sock. The excessive list of occupations is something that creeps in from many quarters, but we need to keep it as concise as possible. Binksternet (talk) 01:02, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

Girls Gone WIld
Hi all
How is there no mention of the Girls Gone Wild escapade?
Whether guilty or not, there is plenty of evidence that a payoff was made! Chaosdruid (talk) 14:18, 3 May 2019 (UTC)

Snoop filed for divorce on 2004 from Shante, but he canceled the proceedings. So he & Shante never were divorced, they were married once and they’re still married. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:6000:170E:486F:41B1:CFA2:CA23:39 (talk) 20:23, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

Net Worth Source
The source that is used to say that his net worth is $124 million is actually an entry from a Forbes list about how much he made from 2007-2017. The statement that his net worth is $124 million is not an accurate use of the source. I cannot find a good source for his net worth, so I propose that this section is removed from the info box. "High school sweetheart" is not encyclopedic language.
"High school sweetheart" is causal slang. Could somebody change the first sentence of his personal life section to say a more typical term like "girlfriend" instead? Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 03:23, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

- If this appearance in a Youtube video is authentic (there were no sources I could find mentioning this), then it is not noteworthy enough to include in an article on him. – Thjarkur (talk) 18:40, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
Anti-vaccination allegations?
Snoop Dogg has been included in several "list of anti-vaccination" celebrities and has publicly admitted to being against the flu shot https://www.instagram.com/p/BosYrdegfuy. Should this be added to the article? Thestickman391 (talk) 11:27, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
Bill Cosby
Multiple news outlets have reported on Snopp Dogg calling for the release of Bill Cosby. I think this should potentially be added to the article, however I'm not much of a writer myself.
