Costa Serena will be the newest flagship of the Costa Cruises fleet. She will be launched on May 26,2007. The name Serena was intended to symbolize harmony and serenity. The ship is under construction at Sestri Ponente. Her sister ship, the Costa Concordia was launched last year. The two ships are the largest and longest ships in the Costa Cruises fleet.
