Karl Friedrich Görner (1742-1802) [1] was a German organist at St. Thomas Church, Leipzig.[2] His father was Johann Gottlieb Görner. His pupils included the Leipzig cantor Friedrich Doles. On the 22 April 1789, Görner assisted Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart when he played the organ at the church, along with Doles, by manipulating the stops.[2]
