Outline
- The events - train derails at around 2:30 AM, rupture of tank containing anhydrous ammonia - The failure of the Emergency Broadcast System - Inability to get message out on radio stations: the cause according to Eric Klinenberg "Fighting for Air" - the radio stations which were supposed to deliver information where owned by out of state companies and didn't adequate (or any) staff on duty.
