If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Samanea Yangon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Samanea Jakarta requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hello Kinemas123. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Samanea Jakarta, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Kinemas123. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Kinemas123|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Template:Z159 Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 09:30, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Spiderone, thank you for the kind explanation. I'm new to Wikipedia & after reading all the rules it still confuses me. After I've provided the disclosure, what other steps do I have to take for my pages to not be deleted? I did provide secondary sources in the citations and I tried writing them in a neutral POV. Thank you so much. Kinemas123 (talk) 09:38, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I personally think that there is enough substance in them to avoid speedy deletion. I would read WP:GNG carefully and make sure that every article created completely complies with that guideline, which is our core inclusion guideline. Users may submit your articles for WP:AfD if they feel that the subject does not meet GNG. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 09:52, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback! Appreciate it Kinemas123 (talk) 01:21, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Samanea Jakarta

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Samanea Jakarta. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Draft:Samanea Jakarta. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Draft:Samanea Jakarta. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at [[Talk:Draft:Samanea Jakarta|the article's talk page]].

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Ahmetlii (talk) 16:03, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi editor, thank you for the kind explanation. The draft page was created by me too & I've deleted it. Apologies for the confusion as I did not know which one to create a page on. Can I just check if the Samanea Jakarta article is approved? Thank you Kinemas123 (talk) 01:18, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You can't just ignore an Articles for Deletion discussion and recreate the article without improvements. You need to go to Wikipedia:Deletion review if you feel this is incorrect. Fences&Windows 23:41, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

COI editing reminder

I notice that you have been editing articles with which you have a paid COI directly, such as Samanea (company). A reminder that per Wikipedia's guidelines on conflicts of interest and paid editing:

you are strongly discouraged from editing affected articles directly;
you may propose changes on talk pages by using the {{request edit}} template or by posting a note at the COI noticeboard, so that they can be peer reviewed

Thanks. — MarkH21talk 16:55, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I think I did disclose that I'm being paid to edit on my personal page. Is that the right indication? Kinemas123 (talk) 01:35, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Reread what I quoted above. It's not only about disclosure, but also not editing articles directly. — MarkH21talk 01:41, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Samanea Jakarta Market.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Samanea Jakarta Market.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
