Lost in translation
The translator seems to have taken some artistic freedom to make it rhyme in English too, at the cost of preserving the meaning. Mainly the first half. In particular, I did not recognize the much cited punchline «Du må ikke tåle så inderlig vel den urett som ikke rammer deg selv». The second half, I think is doing a fair job. The title is completely off.
Completely literal edition (except for English negation grammar):
Title: You (singular) must not sleep
You (singular) must not sit safely in your home
and say: That is sad, poor them!
You must not cope with (thole), so deeply (innerly) well,
that unjust that doesn't impact yourself!
I shout with the last breath of my voice:
You are not allowed to go there and forget!
Forgive them not; they know what they do!
They breathe on the hatred's and the evilty's embers!
