*Delete I couldn't find jack about this, just a couple of brief mentions in articles about other things that don't work for notability. So there's zero reason to keep the article. --Adamant1 (talk) 03:09, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

*Delete. I agree with Adamant1 that the only sources are not in-depth, with the exception of some reporting on a sad slashing incident involving an Asin student on her way to school in 2015, but the school had only a passing mention even there. I updated the article with 2019-2020 enrollment data, and it appears they lost about half their students that year, but the number of faculty remains the same, not a good prognosis for solvency. The Queens education section has only a sentence referring to most private schools as religious, so one possibility might be to list the existing private schools there, but at this point there doesn't even seem to be an appropriate place for a redirect. ::: Good catch, Adamant1 — however, the unreferenced and opaque sentence, "Whitestone Academy is Whitestone's only high school successor in interests to the former St Andrew Academy on the Sound, founded in 1954 by Hellen Koula Tassop" will need to be de-mystified and appropriately cited. Whitestone Academy's literature refers to its founding in 1981, and this clipping refers to "Helen Ottaviano the school's director and founder", but what is the connection to "St Andrew Academy on the Sound"? Maybe the school buildings? Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 08:29, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

Whitestone Academy (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log | edits since nomination)
(Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

Nominated for PROD but was ineligible because it was previously deleted and recreated. Still no independent sources cited and I couldn't find any from a web search either, e.g. no significant mentions from the New York Times. Ruбlov (talk) 22:19, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's briefly mentioned in the Whitestone, Queens article. So maybe that would work for a redirect. --Adamant1 (talk) 04:25, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Good catch, Adamant1 — however, the unreferenced and opaque sentence, "Whitestone Academy is Whitestone's only high school successor in interests to the former St Andrew Academy on the Sound, founded in 1954 by Hellen Koula Tassop" will need to be de-mystified and appropriately cited. Whitestone Academy's literature refers to its founding in 1981, and this clipping refers to "Helen Ottaviano the school's director and founder", but what is the connection to "St Andrew Academy on the Sound"? Maybe the school buildings? Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 08:29, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
