This article was the subject of an educational assignment in Fall 2014. Further details were available on the "Education Program:University of Washington/Interpersonal Media (Fall 2014)" page, which is now unavailable on the wiki.

Text and/or other creative content from this version of Creepypasta was copied or moved into List of creepypasta with this edit. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

These changes are pretty recent.

Agreed about "official", and would go as far as to say that Creepypasta can't really have an official site. It's basically a mix of urban legends and horror stories published online from various authors with no connection to each other. For such a phenomenon, you can have a site that is good or popular, but not official.

The Creepypasta Wiki is a popular site that has been mentioned in the press. It was removed with the summary rm EL. I at least don't think it should be removed without stating a reason.
