Haar gaya tan-man pukaar kar tumhe
Kitne ekaaki hain pyaar kar tumhe
Jis pal haldi lepi hogi tan par maa ne
Jis pal sakhiyon ne saupi hongi saugaaten
Dholak ki thaapon mein, ghungharoo ki roonjhun mein
Ghul kar faili hongi ghar mein pyaari baate
Us pal mithi-si dhun
Ghar ke aangan mein sun
Roye man-chaisar par haar kar tumhe
Kitne ekaaki hain pyaar kar tumhe
Kal tak jo humko-tumko milwa deti thi
Un sakhiyon ke prashnon ne toka to hoga
Saajan ki anjuri par, anjuri kaanpi hogi
Meri sudhiyon ne rasta roka to hoga
Us pal socha mann mein
Aage ab jeevan mein
Ji lenge hanskar, bisaar kar tumhe
Kitne ekaaki hain pyaar kar tumhe
Kal tak mere jin geeton ko tum apna kahti thi
Akhbaaron me padhkar kaisa lagta hoga
Saawan ko raaton mein, saajan ki baanhon mein
Tan to sota hoga par man jagta hoga
Us pal ke jeene mein
Aansoo pi lene mein
Marte hain, mann hi mann, maar kar tumhe
Kitne ekaaki hain pyaar kar tumhe
Haar gaya tan-man pukaar kar tumhe
