Founded in February 2017, FURIA was one of the great revelations of Counter-Strike in South America, even with players, until then, little known to the general public. It was the brainchild of businessman Jaime Pádua, who was already planning to invest in electronic sports, and also entrepreneurs André Akkari (professional poker player) and Cris Guedes. These two plans were similar and assigned to Jaime the mission to structure the project. FURIA has been evolving on the world stage of games, reaching historic milestones among Brazilian teams.
