Image copyright problem with Image:NationsBacon.jpg.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:NationsBacon.jpg.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 20:07, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
AYBABTU
As an occasional editor of the AYBABTU article, I wanted you to know that someone has suggested that the transcript of the opening and closing dialog be deleted. Personally, I think this is ludicrous, but your support is needed to keep the information on Wikipedia. If you are in favor of keeping the text, as it is clearly used under fair use guidelines, please enter a KEEP vote on its AFD page. Thanks! --BRossow 05:22, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

- Re: edits to Asperger Syndrome Sorry Electricbassguy, I've observed Aspie symptoms as well but my 'original research' really doesn't work for an encyclopedic article. Nothing personal and certainly no offense intended, but WP:NOT#Wikipedia_is_not_a_publisher_of_original_thought would be the relevant guide. Zedla 09:46, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks I understand that. I feel the current sarcasm piece could use some expansion though, do you know of any research on aspies/sarcasm? Electricbassguy 10:34, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
BTW, I just added a smaller part, just one sentence of imformation, i hope that is okay with you. it's just that aspie people may take extreme offense to friendly comments, related to the sarcasm/banter part already there. Electricbassguy 10:51, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
yo yo yo
Thanks for making the youthink article two days after I made the thread about me already having one totally written out in O.S. Still coming on then eh? Heh.
(p.s. when I say "thanks", I mean "grr, I should be the first author of this article, oh well")
No I had no idea you wrote this out actually. :-P I just wanted another article on my name and wrote a sentence about YT being a poll site. Not coming on anymore. Electricbassguy 04:32, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Linkin Park. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. --AbsolutDan (talk) 14:09, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Haha, I'm not trying to pick fights definitely, but just so you know, you're totally busted. ;) [1] The last time you posted was the same day you made the Youthink article, the day after I made the O.S. thread about making one. :) EgyptianSushi 07:33, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes I posted there once to see if anyone would react irrationally about my existence. I didn't visit OS though... and you can take credit for the article. ;-) Electricbassguy 09:05, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Your Request for adminship
Hello! Regarding your RFA, I suggest you to withdraw. You have less than 300 edits, with only 20 or so in the Wikipedia namespace, low edit summary usage and just 12 edits in user talk pages. The answers are weak (that is, you don't really know what you would do with the tools). To prevent a large number of oppose votes, I suggest you to withdraw your nomination and try again in five or six months. This is a good faithed suggestion, and you are able to just dismiss it if you want, but I would hate to see you getting offended by the feedback you may get. In any case, good luck with your Wikipedia contributions! -- ReyBrujo 20:18, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks i wasn't really sure. I was just bored and submitted it... I did the editor review instead. Electricbassguy 20:22, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Bianca's Deli & Catering, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company or website, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why Bianca's Deli & Catering is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Bianca's Deli & Catering. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. (aeropagitica) 21:27, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- i had an outside reference to a link about the restaurant. however they have no site themselves so it is hard to research. why was it deleted before i could post on the talk page? Electricbassguy 21:29, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Please do not repost speedily deleted material. This is considered vandalism and can lead to you being blocked from editing for a period of time. (aeropagitica) 04:39, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
I understand. Sorry about that. Electricbassguy 06:32, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Startup.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Startup.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:09, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Picture.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NeilN 01:59, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:BM2007ratings.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:BM2007ratings.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:21, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Notability of MyMiniCity
A tag has been placed on MyMiniCity requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. CyberGhostface (talk) 22:47, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

The Baseball WikiProject Newsletter Issue I – July 2008 | |
This month's newsletter was designed and written by Wizardman, jj137, and Blackngold29. If you would like to contribute to future newsletters, please contact the Baseball WP outreach dept. |
Baseball has a history unlike any other sport. It has been played in countless countries throughout the decades, and it will undoubtedly continue play for many more. On this eve, some the finest players the sport has to offer will take the field at the Yankee Stadium. Four popes spoke there, Pelé scored goals there, "The Greatest [football] Game Ever Played" was battled out there, John Philip Sousa lead a band there, George Costanza worked there; but what do all these events have in common? They fail to reach the level of greatness that the baseball that was played there did. In 1923, a man named Babe Ruth decided to build a new house, and over the years, that house was a home to some of the greatest baseball ever played. If I were to list out all of these great moments, it would be longer than the bill for the New Yankee Stadium. So I'll sum it up by saying that we can remember these great moments by adding them to this place we've gathered at for future generations to read about, to learn about, to dream about; but more importantly we can watch tonight and we can remember how baseball is unlike anything else that we will encounter in our lives. — Blackngold29 |

Unreferenced BLPs
Hello Electricbassguy! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 14 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Mark Lewis (baseball) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Dax Jones - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:BM2007ratings.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:BM2007ratings.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:45, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
