"American pop is a vague and nebulous term..."

-Isn't this redundancy a little redundant?

Article Subject

[edit]

Why is this article talking about teen pop? The title is American pop, and there is already a page for teen pop. Charity 01:38, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

yea i was wondering that too

These are good questions. The page needs a major rewrite. I'll try; please join in. Please don't be afraid to delete something. A lot needs to go. E.g., I'm pretty sure that teen idols go back at least to the 1950s if not earlier. Any claim about when it began needs a source. DougHill (talk) 03:19, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
