Yairipok is a town and a nagar panchayat in Thoubal district in the Indian state of Manipur.
Geography
Yairipok is located at 24°40′N 94°04′E / 24.67°N 94.07°E[1]. It has an average elevation of 845 metres (2772 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001 India censusTemplate:GR, Yairipok had a population of 8263. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Yairipok has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 74%, and female literacy is 54%. In Yairipok, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
