The 2023 Wartburg Knights football team will represent the Wartburg College as a member of the American Rivers Conference (ARC) during the 2023 NCAA Division III football season. The Knights, led by 3rd-year head coach Chris Winter, will play their home games at Walston-Hoover Stadium in Waverly, Iowa.

Previous season

The Knights finished the 2022 season with a record of 13–1 (8–0 in the ARC). They finished in first place in the ARC earning an automatic bid to the 2022 Division III playoffs.[1] They would go on to reach the semifinals, where they fell 34–31 to Mount Union.[2] The team finished the 2022 season ranked 3rd.
