The Hanover Research vandal is a person or group of people who uses IPs in the Greater Washington, D.C., area, some of which are registered to [https://www.hanoverresearch.com/about/ Hanover Research Council], a for-profit public relations agency in Arlington, Virginia. The vandal violates [[WP:NPOV]] and [[WP:NOR]] by posting slanted political analysis based on selected voting statistics. A common practice is for the vandal to insert a chart of presidential election voting results for various California cities, and to edit-war it back in when removed. Other states and political entities have also been targeted.
