Lucien Schaeffer (6 June 1928 – 28 December 2016)[5][6] was a French football goalkeeper who was a member of the French squad at the 1948 Summer Olympics[7][8], but he did not play in any matches.[9] Schaeffer died on 28 December 2016 at the age of 88.[10]

He was selected in France Football squad for the 1948 Summer Olympics,[11][12] but was an unused substitute for the two Games against India[13] and Great Britain,[14] as France were eliminated in the Quarterfinals. He never had a cap with France.
