Oumar Gonzalez (born 25 February 1998) is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Saudi Pro League club Al-Raed.

Club career

On 10 August 2015, Gonzalez signed his first professional contract with Metz.[1] After several seasons out on loan at different clubs,[2] he signed with Chambly on 7 June 2019.[3] Gonzalez made his professional debut with the club in a 1–0 Ligue 2 win over Valenciennes on 26 July 2019.[4]

On 17 August 2023, Gonzalez joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Raed.[5]

International career

Gonzalez represented the Cameroon U23s at the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.[6]

He debuts for the senior Cameroon on June 10, 2023 in a friendly match against Mexico, playing the full 90 minutes.

Personal life

Born in Cameroon, Gonzalez was adopted by Mexican parents. He holds Cameroonian and French nationalities.[7]
