The Austin High School Gang was a young group of white teenage boys from the suburbs of the west side of Chicago who formed a jazz band in the 1920s that rose to prominence among jazz musicians playing Chicago style^[1].

The members^[2] of the Austin High Gang included the following:

Jimmy McPartland - cornet
Dick McPartland - banjo, guitar
Frank Teschemacher - clarinet
Bud Freeman - tenor saxophone
Jim Lannigan - string bass, tuba
Dave North - piano
Dave Tough - drums
