Hello, please don't add date links, like you did at the Grover Washington Jr. article. We don't do that here. If you continue to add date links, you may be blocked. Graham87 04:59, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- Please do not unnecessarily link dates. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:33, 10 July 2021 (UTC)

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Gilbert Bulawan, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Engr. Smitty Werben 23:33, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Sorry to pile it on but it would really really help if you could please do this. Without it, if you change, say, the name of a vegetable there is NOTHING for us to go on, nothing to discuss - you are much more likely to get reverted. WITH an edit summary, we have civilized editing going on and it is all much better! :) DBaK (talk) 19:56, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Linking dates
Hi there. Please stop linking the component parts of dates in the opening sentences of biographical articles. It's unnecessary and inappropriate. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 08:34, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
Linking dates again
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dormskirk (talk) 13:03, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Noël Coward. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Flami72 (talk) 16:32, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Linking dates and rollback
Hi. I apologize for using rollback to undo some of your date linking, about which you can see extensive complaints above. I assume that part of the problem is that you are unaware of the issue and you do not see this page, so we will never get your attention without a temporary block or something. Anyway – please rest assured that I do not mean to mark your edits as vandalism: I absolutely get it that they are made in good faith. It's just a pain to revert them by a slow process when I have a faster one to hand, hence rollback. I do hope that we can get your attention and resolve this issue soon. Best wishes DBaK (talk) 19:48, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Mary J. Blige. Stop linking dates! Binksternet (talk) 14:12, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in David Guetta, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 08:06, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
