Bizagi is a leading low-code development platform that specializes in low-code apps for process automation and business process management. Bizagi is privately owned and was established in 1989. Headquartered in the US, Bizagi also has offices in the UK, Spain, Germany & Latin America. The name Bizagi stands for "business agility".
The company provides enterprise software for Business Process Automation on a low-code development platform. The company originates from the industry of Business Process Management (BPM).
Products
The Bizagi Platform is sold as an enterprise subscription Platform-as-a-Service. The enterprise platform includes several products that enable a wide range of functionality:
- Bizagi Studio is the build environment for designing the business logic behind your enterprise applications - enabling Business Process Management (BPM) and Digital Transformation initiatives. It includes Bizagi's Experience Matrix, which enables you to define a variety of components of the application and to align those with the different personas that will use it. Bizagi Studio acts as the construction module where users build process applications (user interface, forms, business rules, etc.) associated to their business processes and workflows, in preparation for process execution. Models are stored in a database and then used at runtime for process execution.
- Bizagi Apps is the drag-and-drop interface enabling users to customise the UI of a low-code app defined in Bizagi Studio.
- Bizagi Automation is the service that executes the applications defined in Bizagi Studio and Bizagi Apps, making them accessible from any device.
- Bizagi Modeler is a popular application for graphically diagramming, documenting and simulating processes in a standard format known as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Using Bizagi Modeler, processes can be published to Word, PDF, Wiki, Web or SharePoint. Image formats (png, bpm, svg or jpg) and XPDL,[1] to be shared and communicated across the organization.
Applications
Bizagi can be used to automate processes[2] and has made available a set of executable process templates that can be downloaded from Bizagi. The templates include Help Desk Management, Six Sigma process management, Personal Loans request, Insurance Policy underwriting, Transactional process, among others.
Bizagi also offers widgets to add functionality to processes. These series of maps, pie charts, calculators etc. are created and maintained by the public Bizagi Community via its Widget Xchange.[3]
