Chinmoy Barma (born 7 August 1993 in Nalbari) is an Indian educator, filmmaker, and storyteller. Known for his academic achievements and passion for social causes, Barma has made contributions in the field of education and is actively involved in supporting underprivileged children through various initiatives. He hailed from Assam, India.[1]

Early life and education

Chinmoy Barma achieved academic success at a young age. In 2010, he attained the 7th rank in the HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) examination conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA).[2][3]

Then, he went on to pursue higher education at Cotton College. He displayed a interest in engineering and successfully completed his engineering degree from the Assam Science and Technology University.[4]

Career

Following the completion of his studies, Chinmoy Barma gained experience by working in Delhi for a year. During this time, he has realized his true passion for making a positive impact on society, particularly in the lives of underprivileged children. Motivated by this desire, Barma joined a non-governmental organization (NGO) as the city lead, where he keen to providing support and resources to children in need. His efforts and advocate for their rights and well-being were widely recognized. His short films portray the ghosts of Assam.[5][4]

He paints ghosts and popular legends of Assamese folklore with the help of artificial intelligence.[6] His paintings became popular on social media and attracted the attention of many people all over the world.[4][7][8]
