This article is written in American English with IUPAC spelling (color, defense, traveled; aluminium, sulfur and caesium) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. Spellings

People generally pronounce it the way it is spelt where they live (i.e. "aluminum" in the USA and sometimes in Canada, "aluminium" everywhere else). Black Kite (talk) 19:44, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Abuse of Semicolon

The last few years, excessive use of semicolon is observed in Wikipedia. It appears a whopping 67 times in this article. 193.242.214.5 (talk) 04:25, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There are some places where it might be better suited to have a period, but the article is >7,500 words long. Some things are better expressed with semicolons. Recon rabbit 17:30, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
