On April 22, 2006 Snoop Dogg and his Dogg Pound cohorts, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt, took a trip to Elysian Park, Los Angeles, California to film the video with director Damon Johnson for their latest single, "Cali Iz Active". Ice Cube, WC, DJ Quik, Tyrese Gibson, Too $hort, Xzibit, Warren G, Strong Arm Steady, Daddy V, Yo-Yo, JT the Bigga Figga, B-Real, MC Eiht producer Jelly Roll and Dilated Peoples were all present. Even newcomers like Bishop Lamont, Glasses Malone, and J Wells rallied behind DPG. There is also a special exclusive guest appearance by Ronald Isley.

The song was performed live in The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS with guests Dave Foley, Regis Philbin, Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, John Landis.[5]

It samples "Radioactive" by Royal Cash [1]
