After Happy sustained massive injuries in a fight with Spymaster during the Marvel Civil War story arc, Pepper requested that Tony turn off Happy's life support, after initially refusing he eventually complied.

Appearances in other media

Pepper Potts has appeared in the Invincible Iron Man segments of the 1966 animated series, Marvel Super Heroes (voiced by Peg Dixon) and the animated DVD movie The Invincible Iron Man (voiced by Elisa Gabrielli, though with an apparent British accent).

It was recently announced that the character will be played by Gwyneth Paltrow in the upcoming Iron Man feature film. [1]
