Kitsune Tails is an upcoming indie 2D platform game that was announced in 2021.[1][2] The game controls a young female kitsune, Yuzu, one of Inari’s fox-eared and bushy-tailed messengers.[3]

Gameplay

Kitsune Tails is said to be similar to other platform games, such as Super Mario Bros. 3, but it features items and powerups that affect the gameplay.[4] The game features modding tools that will alter the quality of life features.[5]

Release

Kitsune Tails will release on PC via Steam And itch.io on August 1, 2024.[6] The release for other platforms is yet to be announced.
