Christos Zafeiris (Template:Lang-el) (born 23 February 2003) is a Greek footballer, who plays as a midfielder for Slavia Prague. A former youth international for Norway, he opted to play for the Greece national team.

Career

Born in Athens, Greece, Zafeiris moved to Norway at the age of 9. He started his senior career with Grorud in 2020. In August 2021, he signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Haugesund. He was simultaneously loaned back to Grorud for the rest of the 2021 season.[2] On 3 April 2022, he made his Eliteserien debut in a 3–1 loss against Sandefjord.[3]

On 29 January 2023, Zafeiris signed for Czech First League leaders Slavia Prague on a four-and-a-half-year deal.[4]

International career

Born in Greece and raised in Norway, Zafeiris played for Norway at youth level up to the Norway U21s. On 27 August 2024, he switched to play for the Greece national team.[5] He made his debut on 7 September 2024 in a UEFA Nations League match against Finland, winning 3-0.
