First Battle of Sulaymaniyah also known as battle of Sulaymaniya 1919-1922 is a battle that took place in 1919-1922 it was a long battle, the British and Iraqi forces were uprising on Sulaymaniyah and halbja it was a part Mahmud Barzanji revolts the battle was lead by general Mahmud barzanji, mahmud barzanji was also the founder of kingdom of Kurdistan. The battle was a Kurdish victory witch stopped the British and Iraqis from uprising
